ShootProof names John Parks as chief information officer

ShootProof announced the appointment of John Parks as its Chief Information Officer, bringing deep expertise in IT strategy, product development, infrastructure services, technology assessment, and program implementation.

“I’m thrilled to join a team that has such a laser focus on empowering photographers to build successful, sustainable businesses,” said Parks. “I look forward to guiding the product and engineering teams at this key moment when ShootProof is investing in innovation that leverages consumer engagement with professional photographers.”

Most recently Parks was the CIO at Ansira, responsible for Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Enterprise Systems and Security. Prior to that, he helped grow INVISION from five employees to more than 120 with its technology managing $10 billion in sales and billing for the largest media companies before it was sold to Mediaocean in 2016. Parks began his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
